Terms of Service — GilaLedger

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GilaLedger, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the application. GilaLedger provides an offline-first ledger cockpit, savings vault, and small business inventory systems.

2. User Accounts & Registration

To use GilaLedger, you must authenticate via Clerk. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are solely responsible for safeguarding the security of your workspace memberships and account tokens.

3. Billing & Mobile Money Transactions

Subscriptions and credit purchases are processed via PayUnit, supporting local MTN Mobile Money and Orange Money. All payments processed in XAF/XOF are final. Free tier users exporting data are subject to the defined one-time fees.

4. Savings Vault Rules

Our Savings Vault enforces locks and rules at the database level. Emergency early withdrawals break rules and are subject to an immediate 2% processing fee and a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off hold period before money is disbursed.

5. Offline Sync & Local Data

GilaLedger uses local storage (IndexedDB) to cache ledger entries offline. You are responsible for ensuring your device synchronizes with our cloud databases. We are not liable for data conflicts resulting from modified local browser databases.

6. Limitation of Liability

GilaLedger is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free calculations. In no event shall GilaLedger be liable for any financial loss, operational interruption, or lost inventory records.
