1. Data Collection

We collect information required to secure and operate your workspace. This includes authentication data via Clerk (name, email address, profile image) and financial ledger details (transactions, budget category targets, stock SKUs, and encrypted note documents).

2. Payment Security

All mobile money and credit card transactions are handled securely by PayUnit. GilaLedger does not store or process raw credit cards, wallet PINs, or mobile money credentials directly on our servers.

3. Audit Logs & System Transparency

All operations within a workspace (such as transaction creation, category budgets modifications, and vault requests) trigger security Audit Logs. These logs track teammate initials and roles to maintain workspace integrity.

4. Cookies & Browser IndexedDB Storage

We use browser local storage (IndexedDB) to operate the offline queue. This allows the app to function deep underground. Local cache files are cleared immediately upon manual account logout.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain ledger records as long as your workspace remains active. When you schedule a workspace for deletion, all database records, category details, and linked notes are permanently erased from our cloud servers within 14 days.

6. Privacy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to align with payment gateway changes. Continued use of GilaLedger signifies acceptance of modified practices.
